IndiGo Historic Long-Haul Debut: Nonstop Mumbai-Manchester Flights

In a historic move, IndiGo launched a nonstop flight between Mumbai (India) and Manchester (United Kingdom), making it the first of its kind.

After bagging the world's 5th most prominent aviation position, the Indian Aviation Sector has another celebration to add to the trophy list. IndiGo has forayed into the long-haul international market, making it a proud moment for travelers and the aviation industry.

IndiGo is the only airline to offer a nonstop flight between Mumbai and Manchester. The airline has set ambitious plans with the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, offering unmatched comfort and a luxurious environment.

The airline operates on a three-flight-a-week schedule: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays to connect passionate backpackers and business executives. In another first for a budget airline, IndiGo will serve complimentary hot meals and beverages. The move again strengthens the airline's commitment to offering world-class services to its passengers. 

Pieter Elbers (CEO), IndiGo, emphasizes the importance of the landmark route between the two countries: "We can expect stronger ties across the trade, education, and tourism sectors with the new nonstop operations."
