Air Astana's Nonstop Flight Promotes Culture & Commerce

Air Astana flew a historic flight with a new route between Almaty (ALA) and Mumbai (BOM) to mark the 20th anniversary in India. It's a celebratory gift that will keep returning to both sides in the years to come.

The industry is excited about Air Astana's bold move, and travelers on both sides expect exciting times, as Kazakhstan and India are on the cusp of a technological and business revolution. The airline's Airbus A320 has been flying the Indian skies with the Almaty-Delhi route.

Air Astana has pinned its hopes on the commercial capital of India and the vibrant cultural appeal of Mumbai, home to Bollywood.

In a press release, Peter Foster, the CEO, expressed gratitude and outlined the airline's future goals. Air Astana will offer business and free-spirited travelers a spellbinding experience to discover two of the most entertaining and exciting cities on both sides.

Air Astana's strategic expansion move will strengthen its hold as a premium carrier connecting Central Asia to South Asia. Looking back at the last two decades, Air Astana has captured the imagination of travelers flying between Almaty and Delhi. It's time for Mumbai to open itself to a carrier that has made India its prime market and welcome it as a trusted partner in cultural and commercial exchange.

A rare combination of two cultures complementing and commencing into a new world of possibilities.
